Sites allow clinics to organize clients, staff, scheduling, billing, and reporting by location, program, or service area.
Once a site is created, it can be assigned to staff and clients throughout the system.

What You'll Need
- A role with permission to manage Sites
- Basic site information such as:
- Site Name
- Address
- State
- City
- Zip Code
Where to Go
- Navigate to More
- Select Sites
The Sites page displays all sites currently configured for your organization.
Add a New Site
- Select + Add New Site
- Complete the Site Information section
Required Information
Site Name
Enter the name of the site, program, or location.
Examples:
- Main Office
- Telehealth
- Substance Abuse Program
State
Select the state associated with the site.
City
Enter the city where the site is located.
Site Address
Enter the physical address for the site.
Zip Code
Enter the site's zip code.
Contact & Additional Details
You may also enter additional site information, including:
Company Name
The organization or company associated with the site.
Fax
Optional fax number.
Optional email address.
Phone
Optional phone number.
Site Type
Select a site type if configured by your organization.
Comments
Enter any additional notes related to the site.
Save the Site
After completing the required information:
- Select Add Site
- The new site will be added to your clinic's site listing
The site will now be available for assignment throughout Notenetic.
Assigning a Site to a Client
After creating a site, it can be assigned to clients.
Where to Go
- Open the client's profile
- Select Client Action
- Choose Assign Site
Assign the Site
- Select the desired site from the dropdown list
- Select Submit
The client is now associated with the selected site.
Managing Existing Sites
From the Sites listing page, you can:
- View all configured sites
- Edit existing site information
- Review the number of clients assigned to each site
- Activate or deactivate sites as needed
Why Don't I See My Site?
If a site does not appear as an option:
Site Was Not Saved
Verify the site was successfully created and appears in the Sites listing.
Site Is Inactive
Inactive sites may not appear for assignment.
Permission Restrictions
Your role may not have permission to manage or assign sites.
Page Needs Refresh
Refresh the page and try again after creating a new site.
Important Notes
- Sites can represent physical locations, telehealth programs, departments, or service lines.
- Clients can only be assigned to sites available within your organization.
- Site assignments may impact scheduling, reporting, billing workflows, and appointment reminders.
