You can access the Add Document screen from multiple locations.
Accessing the Add Document Screen:

Use the Blue Plus Sign
- Look for the blue plus sign in the top-right corner of your Notenetic page.
- Click the plus sign to go directly to the Add Document section.

Navigate via the Documents Tab
- Go to the Documents tab in the main menu.
- Click the blue "Add Document" button displayed on the page.
Selecting a Document Template:

Choose a Template
- On the Add Document screen, click the Select Template box.
- You can either scroll through the list of available templates or type into the search bar to quickly find the desired document.

View Document Fields
- Once a template is selected, the corresponding document fields will automatically populate below the Date of Service (DOS) box.
Assigning an Author:
- Select the Author

Use the Author dropdown to select the staff member responsible for the document.

You can either scroll through the list or type into the search bar to find the staff member’s name.
Note: Users with a User/Clinician role can only assign documents to themselves.

Important Considerations:

- Your clinic's settings may prevent adding documents if the DOS is too far in the past. For example, if the DOS is 1/1/24 and today is 2/1/24, you may be restricted from entering the document.
- Future dates cannot be selected as the DOS.
Note: If you encounter any restrictions or issues while adding documents, contact your clinic administrator for assistance.
