Clinics now have the option to create more than one active treatment plan for a client. This can be helpful when managing care across multiple programs, services, or providers.
Where to Go:
- Go to the client’s profile
- Select the Treatment Plan tab from the left-hand menu.
Create an Additional Treatment Plan
You can either:

Select Generate Treatment Plan, or

Choose Add Plan to manually start a new plan
⚠️ This action does not require you to end-date or close the previous plan.
Once additional plans are added, the header will update to display Treatment Plan (1), Treatment Plan (2), Treatment Plan (3), and so on.
A dropdown will now display, allowing you to switch between treatment plans to view, add, or update goals as needed. Discussed in the How-To-Create-a-Treatment-Plan article
How This Affects Document Submission
When a client has multiple treatment plans, clinicians will now see a Treatment Plan dropdown when creating a new document.
Before selecting a goal, objective, or intervention, clinicians must:

Choose the correct Treatment Plan

Proceed with selecting goals tied to that plan
This ensures all documentation aligns with the intended plan of care.
