Follow these steps to set up pay rates for a staff member. You can assign multiple rate types to accommodate different services or payment structures.
Steps to Create a Pay Rate:

Navigate to the Staff Profile
- Go to the desired Staff Profile.
- On the left-hand menu, select the Pay Rates tab.

View and Add Pay Rates
- On the Pay Rates page, you will see:
- A list of any current or past rates assigned to the staff member.
- A blue "Add Pay Rates" button on the right.
- Click "Add Pay Rates" to create a new pay rate.

Choose a Rate Type
There are four available rate types to choose from:- Base Rate by Hour: Standard hourly rate.
- Hourly Rate by Specific Service: Hourly rate tied to a specific service.
- Rate by Event/Service: Flat rate per event or service.
- Rate by Mileage/Per Mile: Rate calculated based on mileage.

Enter Pay Rate Details
- Select the appropriate rate type.
- Input the amount for the rate.
- Add the Effective Date (when the rate starts).
- Optionally, add an End Date (if applicable).

Save the Pay Rate
- Click Save to finalize the pay rate.
Example of Multiple Rate Types:
A staff member can have multiple pay rates assigned simultaneously. For instance:
- A Base Rate by Hour for general work.
- A Rate by Mileage for travel-related tasks.
Note: Ensure all pay rates are reviewed and accurate before saving to avoid discrepancies in staff compensation.
