Staff unavailability can be blocked on the calendar to ensure accurate scheduling. Follow these steps to create unavailability events.
Note: The ability to create events or block off time is role- and access-based. If you do not have this ability, please contact your Super Admin.
Steps to Set Staff Unavailability:

Access the Calendar
- Go to the Calendar from the main menu.

Open the Event Creation Modal
- Double-click on the desired date in the calendar.
- This will open the event creation modal.

Set Staff Unavailability
- Toggle on "Set Staff Unavailability" to designate the event as unavailable time.
Complete the Following Fields:
- Title: Input a descriptive title (e.g., "Andre Not Available").
- Start Date/Time & End Date/Time: Specify the period of unavailability.
- Repeat: If the unavailability occurs on a recurring basis (e.g., weekly), configure the recurrence settings.
- Assign Staff: Select one or multiple staff members who will be unavailable.
- Comments (Optional): Add any relevant notes or details.

Save the Event
- Click Save to finalize and block off the time.
Outcome
The unavailability will now be displayed on the calendar, ensuring staff are not scheduled for events during this time.
